According to journalist and motorsport expert Richard Köck,
Mercedes team boss
Toto Wolff and
Ferrari team boss
Mattia Binotto don't have a good relationship.
Ferrari don't expect much support from Wolff in these troubled times.
Ferrari have had a very dramatic start to the 2020 season. The team is underperforming badly and only
Charles Leclerc, with some luck, has been able to get two more podiums. It could be years before Ferrari is back to its old level, Binotto says.
According to Köck, Wolff doesn't want to say much about his relationship with Binotto.
"After a few verbal poisonous arrows, Wolff doesn't want to say much more about his relationship with Binotto", Köck writes in his
column at the Kronen Zeitung.
"Our relationship is a bit cold, but it's been like that for a long time", says Wolff.
No support from Red Bull either
According to Köck, Ferrari won't be getting any support from
Red Bull Racing either. Due to the engine fraud that was probably committed last season, Red Bull lost second place among the manufacturers and the team lost a lot of money. Something they haven't forgotten in Milton Keynes.
