MotoGP Full Race Results | Acosta snaps winless streak at the Red Bull Ring

Acosta had finished on the MotoGP podium 15 times without a single victory until today, holding the record for the most top-three finishes without a race win. However, that is no longer the case. Acosta took the lead from Jorge Martin on Lap 9 and went on to secure a confident victory after crashing out of the Sprint a day earlier.

Martin had to settle for second place today after coming under pressure from his teammate, Marco Bezzecchi, during the final five laps. Still, it was a positive day for the Spanish rider, as he extended his lead over Marc Marquez in the riders' standings. The defending world champion finished only fifth today.

In terms of the riders' standing, Martin now leads Marquez and Bezzecchi by 12 and 42 points, respectively.

In Moto2, Izan Guevara claimed all 25 points after taking the lead by the end of Lap 1. Filip Salac and future Honda MotoGP rider David Alonso completed the podium, while championship leader Manuel Gonzalez crossed the finish line in fourth place.

David Almansa crashed out of the lead during the Moto3 race at the Red Bull Ring. As a result, Maximo Quiles crossed the finish line in first place, extending his lead in the riders' standings in the process. KTM Ajo riders Brian Uriarte and Alvaro Carpe completed the top three.
