Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux's baby was born yesterday, the couple announced on social media.
Leclerc has joined Sergio Perez, Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso as the latest father on the Formula 1 grid. Like Verstappen, he has welcomed a daughter. Leclerc and Saint Mleux have named her Bianca.
Leclerc will not drive in FP1 in Brazil
Leclerc went home to Monaco after the Mexico City Grand Prix for the birth of his daughter. It is uncertain whether he will arrive in time for the media day of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil or whether he will spend more time with Alexandra and Bianca.

In any case, Leclerc will not drive in FP1. He will hand over his seat to rookie Dino Beganovic. This will be the Swede's third FP1 appearance this season, having previously driven the SF-26 in Barcelona and Austria.
