What Kelly Piquet was up to during Verstappen’s first GT3 victory

Verstappen's girlfriend, Piquet, was in Milan at a fashion show, she shared on social media.

As a model herself, the Brazilian is attending the Milan Fashion Week that runs until Monday. Yesterday, Piquet was at the Tod's Spring Summer 2026 Women’s Fashion Show.

Earlier this week, she also attended another brand’s event in the Italian city, sharing it on her Instagram.

Meanwhile, Verstappen won his first GT3 race at the Nordschleife a day ago.

After qualifying in third place, the Dutchman already took the lead by Turn 1.

Verstappen completed a two-hour stint, building up a considerable gap in the meantime. He then handed the car over to his teammate, Chris Lulham. The Briton then secured the duo's first Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie victory in the #31 Ferrari 296 GT3 car.

After the race, the four-time F1 world champion was satisfied with the result.

He commented: “It was great! During my first two stints, the car was amazing. After qualifying, I knew the car would be good on a dry track. Everything went well in terms of traffic, and we didn’t make any big mistakes. To win my debut race here is amazing."

With this victory, Verstappen and Lulham also became the first drivers to win on their debut since 1977, excluding the very first race of the series, when all drivers were making their debut.

The Verstappen family had another reason to celebrate as well. Max's father, Jos Verstappen, clinched the Belgian Rally Championship title.
