Stippler, following the conclusion of the race, labelled Verstappen the best in the world while also highlighting how the Dutch driver had become largely familiar with the circuit.
“He's the best racing driver in the world. He's obviously from the simulator generation, knows the track, and knows the car. I expected nothing less."

Verstappen, on his part, recorded an impressive outing at the Nurburgring. The Formula 1 champion, who was making his maiden outing at the GT3 category, qualified in third place before coasting to race victory alongside his teammate. Chris Lulham.
Stippler, who drove the Ford Mustang, finished in third place alongside teammate, Bincent Kolb, with Dennis Fetzer, Jann Mardenborough and Fabio Scherer. Driving the No. 9 Ford Mustang, clinching second place.

Verstappen makes history at Nurburgring

While the praises continue to pour in for Max Verstappen, the Red Bull Racing driver who drove the Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 car, further etched his name into the record books.
Verstappen, alongside Lulham, became the first debutant since 1977 to claim victory at their maiden outing at the Nurburgring. The pair largely led much of the GT3 race and finished over 22 seconds ahead of Dennis Fetzer, Jann Mardenborough and Fabio Scherer, who clinched second place.
With his GT3 race weekend concluded, Verstappen will now shift focus to next weekend's Formula 1 action at the Marina Bay circuit, where he will have his sights set on further closing the gap to championship-leading pair Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris at the Singapore Grand Prix.
