Less than two months ago, Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet welcomed their first child, Lily. Yet preparations are already underway to welcome another daughter into the couple's extended family.
Nelson Piquet Jr. and Patsy Zurita Piquet are expecting their first child. The couple recently held a gender reveal in Monaco, where it was announced that the Piquet family will soon be welcoming another baby girl.
Nelson Piquet Jr. is a former Formula 1 driver who started 28 Grands Prix for the Renault team. The son of three-time world champion Nelson Piquet also won the inaugural Formula E championship in the 2014-15 season.
‘I can't wait to see her face,’ Kelly Piquet commented on her sister-in-law Patsy’s Instagram post. Photos show the Brazilian attending the celebration hosted by her brother and his wife, accompanied by her two daughters, Penelope and Lily.

Max Verstappen was notably absent from the celebration. While the exact timing of the gender reveal is unclear, reports suggest it may have taken place as early as Tuesday. At that time, the Dutchman was at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, taking part in GT3 car testing, which could explain his absence.
The four time world champion finsihed the Canadian Grand Prix in second place behind Mercedes driver George Russell. Meanwhile, the McLaren pair of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris collided. Norris was forced to retire from the race after the incident in the closing stages.
Verstappen had also skipped the premiere of F1: The Movie to prioritise the GT3 test in Belgium. On Monday evening, the stars of Formula 1 lit up the red carpet in New York, where they gathered to watch the film together. Seven drivers were absent from Formula 1's official photo in the famed American city. You can see why they weren't present and what else they were up to by clicking here.
