Red Bull Junior Nikola Tsolov claimed victory in the Formula 2 Monaco Grand Prix Feature Race after a battle with Ferrari Junior Rafael Camara ended in a DNF for the Brazilian.
The race, which kicked off with Camara on pole, witnessed every driver go through cleanly on the opening lap. The strategy play would soon come into play around the streets of Monte Carlo, with Red Bull Junior Tsolov opting to keep pace with Camara through the long procession race.
Camara, on his part, was soon advised to back up the pack as the race gradually began to stretch. Amid the immediate strategy call, Oliver Goethe and Ryo Miyata made contact in Turn 1, with the stewards noting the incident.
The race would continue in much the same manner it had kicked off, albeit with the pit stop windows opening up. Sebastian Montoya, among others, was the first to switch from the super-soft tyre compound, with several other drivers following suit as the pit stop phase for the super-soft compound opened up.

Montoya would soon hit the wall just as the pit window for the soft-tyre runners opened. The incident prompted a brief yellow flag, but the Colombian was able to continue his race. With the pit window opening, Gabriele Minì would be the first to dive into the pit; however, the young Italian endured a lengthy pit stop, which saw him rejoin the race in 16th. Nico Varrone of Van Amersfoort Racing would be handed a 10-second penalty for an infringement he was involved in during the race. Noel Leon would also be noted for a similar incident shortly after.
However, with about 10 laps to go, the front-runners will begin to pile up the pressure on Camara and Tsolov, who have held positions in first and second place through the race. The Campos team would soon call Tsolov into the pits, coming out in fifth place.
Camara, in his Invicta, would react and follow into the pit lane on the following lap as he aimed to keep track position. While coming out ahead of Tsolov and Dunne, the Brazilian would soon be overtaken by Miyata. However, the defining moment of the Monte Carlo race would soon ensue as Tsolov and Camara were involved in a wheel-to-wheel battle, and Camara went off into the runoff area. The Brazilian appeared to have no grip after switching to the super-soft tyres.
While Camara was unable to rejoin the race, it was Tsolov who claimed victory in Monaco. The Bulgarian took the chequered flag ahead of Dunne, and Dino Beganovic claimed third place. Kush Maini mustered a fourth-place finish, ahead of Martinius Stenshorne. Miyata finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively, with Enzo Fittipaldi taking the chequered flag in seventh, and Montoya was eighth. Leon took ninth place, with Roman Bilinski taking the final points-scoring position.

The win for Tsolov marked his third win of the campaign and the third around the Principality through his F2 and F3 career. The victory also moved him within a point of championship leader Gabriele Minì.
