Max Verstappen has topped the timing sheets for FP3 of the Singapore Grand Prix, with Oscar Piastri in P2 and George Russell in P3. Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris rounded off the top 5.
How it happened
After the first ten minutes, the two McLarens immediately set the pace on the mediums, with Norris being a tenth quicker. A minute later however, Sainz jumped to the lead as the two Williams were the first to fit softs today.
15 minutes into the session, Liam Lawson crashed for the second time this weekend, causing a red flag again. The New Zealander hit the wall exiting Turn 7 on this occasion.
The session resumed around 10 minutes later. At the halfway point, Norris still led with a 1:31.0 on medium compound tyres ahead of the two Williams cars.

With George Russell splitting the two Williams, Antonelli took over the top spot. Shortly after Charles Leclerc put together a lap strong enough for P1. However, Lando Norris would take P1, followed by Lewis Hamilton and Oscar Piastri.
Max Verstappen then managed to beat Norris' time by a tenth, claiming provisional P1.
Aston Martin was not able to confirm their pace from FP1 and FP2, with Alonso in P13 and Lance Stroll down in P18.
Russell then edged closer to Verstappen taking P2, 0.049s adrift of Verstappen's times.
