The FIA has declared a heat hazard for the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. The temperature at the Marina Bay circuit is expected to hover around 31.0 °C for much of the weekend. Here is all you need to know about the weather for the race.
The Marina Bay circuit has, over the years, proven to be one of the most humid venues on the
F1 calendar. The race, which joined the F1 calendar in the 2008 season, has since been held at night due to the extreme heat that often affects the Marina Bay region during race weekends.
2025 is not expected to be an exception, and the FIA has swung into action to aid teams through the hot weather. In its recent announcement, it declared a heat hazard. This will mandate teams to install cooling systems for their respective drivers.

“In accordance with Article 26.19 of the Sporting Regulations, having received a forecast from the Official Weather Service predicting that the Heat Index will be greater than 31.0 °C at some time during the race at this event, a Heat Hazard is declared.”
In another announcement, Race Director Rui Marques also stated that teams can close their garages during the weekend, due to the risk of rain, which is also expected to hit the track.
“Due to the severe weather conditions, all teams are allowed to close their garage doors.”
With these precautionary actions in place by the FIA, here is the weather forecast for the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
