Lewis Hamilton has been summoned to the Stewards following a red flag infringement.
Lewis Hamilton has seemed to be on top of the current weekend of racing in Singapore, confirming the healthy trend he's been experiencing since the Dutch Grand Prix.
During FP3 he was able to confirm his pace once again edging out teammate Charles Leclerc in the qualifying simulations, clinching P8 whilst the Monegasque could only manage P10.

Why Hamilton is being summoned by the Stewards

After making his way past Liam Lawson's stricken Racing Bulls car, the seven-time world champion picked up the pace and resumed normal racing speed, in direct opposition to the established guidelines drivers should comply with following a red flag.
Appendix H, Article 2.5.4.1 b) of the International Sporting Code, Art. 37.6a 2025 Formula 1 Sporting Regulations states: "During practice all cars shall immediately reduce speed and proceed slowly back to their respective pits."
Should the Briton be found guilty, this could derail the British driver's Singapore GP weekend, since these types of offences usually carry heavy grid drop sanctions.
