The Cadillac F1 outfit saw their maiden race in the sport take an unfortunate turn, as Valtteri Bottas was forced to retire from the race.
The Finnish driver, who started the race in 19th place, saw his run around the Albert Park Circuit come to an end after suffering a technical failure on lap 19.
The former Mercedes team driver was forced to pull over with what appeared to be a technical issue on the Cadillac car.

Prior to Bottas’ issue, Red Bull Racing had also seen their race unravel, with Isack Hadjar forced to retire early after what appeared to be an engine problem.
Elsewhere, Fernando Alonso was forced to retire on lap 15, as the woes of the Aston Martin F1 Team continued to pile up. The Spanish driver would however rejoin the race, with the Silverstone outfit admitting to making some adjustments to his AMR26.
