Max Verstappen was participating in a private test with his GT3 team at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The Dutchman also had to deal with challenging conditions.
Ahead of taking part in the 24h of Nurburgring race later this year, Verstappen and his team returned to the 'Green Hell' to conduct a private test on the circuit.

In a video shared by Red Bull DE on social media, the Dutchman says: "We were going full speed on the straight, suddenly, it's like snowing so aggressively, I'm like, 'Ooooooooh', like on ice.
"It's like ice because it was so cold then it becomes ice, so I took it safe," he concluded with a big smile on his face.

What's next for Verstappen at the Nordschleife?

With the current break in Formula 1 due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen would have more time to drive at the German Eifel.
The Dutchman will not drive in NLS3, because his team will be present at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France, competing in the GTWC series.
A week later, the ADAC 24h Nurburgring Qualifiers take place in Germany. So far Lucas Auer is scheduled to be present there, and during the Japanese GP, Verstappen already mentioned the possibility of going there, saying that it would make sense to help Auer.

That weekend, Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon can't be present due to responsibilities elsewhere.
