Ralf Schumacher was left unimpressed by the way Lewis Hamilton's talked to his team and race engineer, Riccardo Adami, during the Miami Grand Prix.
After he finished in P8 in the state of Florida, Hamilton reflected on his messages over the team radio. He said: "I could have said way worse things on the radio. You can hear some of the things other people have said in the past. It was just... some of it was sarcasm," to GPblog among others.
With having a faster compound on for the second stint, the Briton asked to be in free air and that Charles Leclerc should let him past.
After three laps, Ferrari did ask the Monegasque driver to swap, and later they decided to change the positions again.

Schumacher wanted to hear Hamilton apologise

Ralf Schumacher was critical of the seven-time world champion afterwards. “'Mimimi' Hamilton, he missed the mark a bit. Wanting to overtake is one thing; he was indeed faster at that moment. But then give the place back later without resisting,” the former driver began.
“And don't pretend afterwards that you meant it sarcastically. Instead, you just say: ‘I'm sorry’. This really shouldn't have happened, given his experience and age. He could have acted a bit wiser. I think that would have suited him better,” Schumacher concluded in the Boxengasse podcast of Sky Sports Germany.
After the Grand Prix, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur also talked about why he talked to the Briton before they talked to the media, and explained that they, together with Leclerc, need to trust each other.
