Red Bull is not expected to run today in Barcelona following Isack Hadjar’s crash late on day two. Yesterday,
Max Verstappen made his official debut at the wheel of the RB22, sharing the track almost exclusively with Charles Leclerc in both dry and wet conditions before handing over to his teammate in the afternoon.
The Frenchman, however, inherited a tricky circuit after heavy morning rain
and crashed in the closing stages of the session, bringing his day to an early end.
With two further days of testing still available after today, the Milton Keynes-based team has opted to take time to fully assess the damage to the RB22, especially given the limited availability of spare parts.
While Hadjar has already completed a day and a half of running, the four-time world champion still has a full day of driving to come, which is likely to take place either tomorrow or on the final day of testing on Friday.

Lawson gives 'very positive' early verdict on new Red Bull–Ford engine
Red Bull’s Barcelona test has so far delivered plenty of positives despite a late incident for
Isack Hadjar, which has stood out as the sole significant hiccup to date. The new Red Bull Powertrains project, developed in collaboration with Ford, has otherwise made a strong impression.
On the opening day alone, the new power unit completed 195 laps, matching almost exactly the mileage logged by Mercedes and Ferrari — a point Liam Lawson was quick to underline when reflecting on the early running.
