Sergio Perez already finds himself hard at work on the sim ahead of Cadillac F1's debut in 2026.
Cadillac finds itself rapidly shaping up the team's internal structure, as well as the infraestructure and of course, the car they will make their debut in F1 with come next season.
Having announced a line up consisting of veteran, battle-hardened and already proven talents such as Valtteri Bottas and Perez, it was clear the American team were looking for drivers who could set a performance baseline for the 2026 car.
Well-versed in not only winning races, but also in car set up as well as car development, Perez and Bottas may just give Cadillac exactly what they want and need ahead of their F1 debut.

Perez already hard at work for Cadillac

The Mexican driver, having sat out the 2025 season following his axeing from Red Bull Racing at the end of 2024, is now back in action.
On a video shared by Cadillac on social media, a roaring car drifts into the picture, as Perez' voice thanks the team for a job well done. The car then becomes disassembled until nothing but the sim rig is left, and that is where a confident - and winking - Perez can be seen already putting in the laps.
