Mysterious photos of a Red Bull car in the Madrid underground appeared on social media today.
As part of promoting the
Spanish Grand Prix at the future “Madring,” Red Bull has placed an old car on the metro rails. No doubt more on this will appear soon on Red Bull’s social media channels.
In any case, the photo below already shows that the Pirelli tyres have been replaced by a special suspension that does indeed allow it to run on rails.
In the past, Red Bull was praised for having a car so good it looked like it was running on rails. In a season where that has been anything but the case during Grands Prix, those old times were revisited, albeit with a wink

Madrid is gradually preparing for its first Grand Prix on the new circuit on the edge of the city, which will soon be easily accessible by metro. For now, the task is to get the track fully ready before mid-September.

Before that, there’s another Grand Prix in Spain. It will be held near Barcelona, at the circuit that previously hosted the Spanish Grand Prix. It will now be called the Grand Prix of Barcelona-Catalunya.
