McLaren CEO Zak Brown remains fixed on his team's free-to-race philosophy even after the ongoings at the late stages of the Canadian Grand Prix.
Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris qualified P2 and P3 respectively for the British GP, behind Max Verstappen on pole, who earned the compliments of the American CEO.
However, Brown is not all too concerned with the qualifying results seeing as both of his drivers are in the top 3 after all."We knew that qualifying was going to be absolute full throttle," he said to F1TV.

Brown wants Piastri and Norris to fight hard

Both McLaren drivers are currently locked in a very tight title battle, which gets even closer when they fight each other on track as Canada and the last Austria near-miss incident between the two.
However, Brown is unfazed by this and when asked what the F1 community could and should expect from their drivers tomorrow as they both look to further increase their championship-winning chances by overcoming the other, he said: "Elbows out!" Meaning both drivers would go out and try to win the race at all costs, within the parameters of fair racing, of course.
