The Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend is shaping up to deliver a mix of conditions across its Thursday-to-Saturday schedule. Rain poses threat for a number of sessions
Thursday will be the opening day will begin partly cloudy before thicker cloud cover develops through the afternoon. Light rain becomes increasingly possible late in the day, creating a moderate chance of drizzle by the time FP2 begins.
FP1, running from 18:30 to 19:30 local time, is expected to take place in cool and mostly dry conditions at 14°C, with estimations of a light southeasterly breeze. Temperatures dip further for FP2 (22:00–23:00), with the session forecast at 12°C and the risk of light rain still present. The day’s high will reach 15°C, with a minimum of 8°C.
For Friday, the forecaste expects persistent cloud covers, along with a continued but decreasing chances of showers through the mid-afternoon. By the time track action gets underway in the evening, conditions are expected to stabilise.
FP3 (18:30–19:30) should be held in dry air at around 14°C, with light northwesterly winds. The improving trend continues for qualifying at 22:00–23:00, where the chance of rain drops further, and temperatures hover near 12°C. The day will range between 9°C and 15°C.

Saturday brings the steadiest weather of the weekend, with a mainly sunny day giving way to a clear, starry evening, ideal for race conditions. A dry Grand Prix is expected, with light northwesterly winds and a race-start temperature of 14°C when lights go out at 22:00. The day’s maximum will reach 17°C.
Flood watch in place in Las Vegas
A flood watch is in effect across the Las Vegas Valley through at least Wednesday due to expected heavy rain, but conditions should improve as the week progresses.
