F1 Full Results | Lando Norris wins the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix

There was chaos on the opening lap as Max Verstappen lost control on a damp track at the final corner and crashed heavily out of the race. The Dutchman was unscathed but it was a disappointing end to potentially his final home race of his Formula 1 career.

Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto had a 360 degrees spin at the same corner just moments later but was fortunate that his car did not hit the wall.

Norris lost the lead of the race to Kimi Antonelli after the red flag, however, he looked to have the pace on the Italian throughout the race and passed him during the final stint to take his second consecutive win.

There was some controversy towards the end of the race after Antonelli made a late pitstop and returned on track behind George Russell. With Antonelli on much fresher tyres, Mercedes made the decision for Russell to let the Italian through, three lost points which could prove crucial come the end of the season.

It could have been worse for Russell as he only just held on to third ahead of the two Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Hamilton had voiced his displeasure at not receiving beneficial team orders earlier in the race, as he ran behind Leclerc on much fresher tyres with a chance of a podium.

Hamilton eventually got ahead of Leclerc as he pitted under a late Virtual Safety Car.

Oscar Piastri, Liam Lawson, Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly rounded out the points paying positions, while Valtteri Bottas, the two Haas drivers and Lance Stroll all retired.
