Sky Sports analyst Ted Kravitz believes that the Singapore Grand Prix "will prove" whether Yuki Tsunoda has "vanquished his tyre problem". "It will be a bit of a test in Singapore, where there is higher tyre degradation, because that is something he has struggled with."

However, going into the race weekend at the
Marina Bay Street Circuit, the 25-year-old found a much-needed positive performance, taking P6 at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a solid drive.
"I think the crucial thing, actually, was Friday in Baku," Kravitz started by saying on
Sky Sports' podcast, The F1 Show.

"Tsunoda did some testing with this new setup, and it worked. He found out what he needed from the car on long runs.
"It will be a bit of a test in Singapore, where there is higher tyre degradation, because that is something that Tsunoda has struggled with on the long runs.
"We'll see whether Singapore will prove whether Yuki has really vanquished his tyre problem on the long runs."

The Singapore Grand Prix has seen Red Bull struggle in recent years, and a positive performance from Tsunoda could make
a massive difference for what his 2026 season looks like, despite expectations from Kravitx and Jamie Chadwick.
