Lewis Hamilton announced that his English Bulldog, Roscoe passed away.
Last week, Roscoe caught pneumonia again, after which his heart stopped. He was then placed in a coma.
The Briton wrote on social media: "Lost my best friend last night. Thank you all for the love you’ve shown him over the years. Roscoe forever."
The F1 community unanimously joined in to wish Hamilton the best, with many teams and drivers sharing posts of Roscoe, including Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, McLaren and Williams.

Roscoe was well-known in the paddock and a fan favourite in the world of
Formula 1, often accompanying Hamilton to Grands Prix. He made fewer appearances recently because of health issues, Hamilton explained earlier this season.
Hamilton on Roscoe's battle
The Briton shared on Instagram that
Roscoe 'fought until the end.'"After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe. He never stopped fighting, right until the very end."
"It is one of the most painful experiences and I feel a deep connection to everyone who has gone through the loss of a beloved pet. Although it was so hard, having him was one of the most beautiful parts of life, to love so deeply and to be loved in return."
