Tickets are now on sale for Christian Horner's UK tour, which was announced several weeks ago. The former Red Bull team principal will travel across the country to discuss Drive, his memoir chronicling his 20-year career in Formula 1. Last July, it was announced that the former Red Bull CEO and team principal would embark on a five-date UK tour in October. The tour will begin on 17 October at the Barbican in York, before heading to the Pavilion in Glasgow on 18 October, the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on 19 October and the Forum in Bath on 20 October. It will conclude at the Cambridge Theatre in London on 26 October.
As for the start times of each show, the York event will begin at 19:30 on 17 October, followed by Glasgow at 12:30 on 18 October. The Nottingham and Bath shows will both start at 19:30 on 19 and 20 October respectively, while the final date in London will also get underway at 19:30 on 26 October.
“This autumn, I’ll be heading out on a UK book tour to celebrate the publication of my memoir, Drive,” he wrote via his Instagram account back then. “I’ll be reflecting on the defining moments of my career, the experiences from more than two decades in Formula One, and the highs and lows of leading a team at the very top of the sport. We’ll also have a live Q&A, giving you the chance to ask your own questions and hear some of the stories from behind the scenes.”
As for ticket prices, they range from around £60 to £70 (€70 to €80) for each date and are available to purchase through Ticketmaster.
"I am going to be on a speaking tour. I'm going to be going to Nottingham, to Bath, to Glasgow, to York and to London. It's going to be an evening talking about my career, the highs, the lows, the rivalries, and my journey in Formula 1," he said on social media.
"If you fancy coming along, then tickets are available now. You get a copy of my memoir that's soon to be released, Drive. Hopefully, if you want to come, then look forward to seeing you there. All the best."
Newey addresses Horner-to-Aston Martin rumors: 'We are happy with the personnel we have'
A few weeks ago, Adrian Newey addressed
the speculation linking Horner with a possible move to Aston Martin. The British designer acknowledged that he had repeatedly heard the rumours surrounding his former Red Bull colleague, but made clear that he had no additional information to offer on the matter.
Newey instead pointed to Aston Martin's current leadership structure, stressing that the team are very happy with the senior management personnel already in place. While he did not rule out the possibility of some minor adjustments being made within the organisation, he reiterated that Aston Martin remain satisfied with their current personnel.
Newey was also asked about Horner ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. The master designer said: "I keep hearing about these rumors with Christian. I can't comment further. I don't really know anything about that. All I can say is that we're very happy with our senior management team. And we may do some minor tweaks, but the personnel we have at AMR, we are very happy with it."
