Jos Verstappen said that the pressure now falls entirely on the shoulders of the two McLaren drivers in the title fight, following their disqualification at the Las Vegas GP.
"The pressure at McLaren is now on and they will feel it"

Speaking to Formule1.nl, the four-time world champion’s father also pointed out that his son can’t simply win all the remaining races to secure a fifth world title, given the still considerable gap he needs to close.
"The pressure at McLaren is now on and they will feel it," he said. "It is still the case that if Max wins the remaining races and Norris finishes second every time, Norris will become world champion. But Oscar Piastri is also still there and he won't be very happy at the moment either. You can see a clear difference between the two McLarens on the track."
"This is a big mistake by McLaren, a huge blunder yes. Because why would you really sit on the limit like that? Maybe it was really a mistake, but maybe the car just doesn't work as well and they have to do this."

Jos Verstappen revealed that his son already knew the two McLarens were going to be disqualified: "I spoke to Max before departure. He already knew then that they would be disqualified."
Finally, on what it will take to challenge for the title, Jos said that “everything has to fall into place. But he still has nothing to lose and can go on the attack. And he will.”

International media brand Verstappen 'the happiest man in the world right now'

The international media gave extensive coverage to the four-time world champion’s brilliant victory in Vegas, which came at the end of a weekend heavily affected by rain and saw Lando Norris take a dominant pole.
Thanks to the disqualification of the two McLaren drivers, the Dutchman has reopened the championship, and with two races and a sprint still to go, a fifth consecutive title is still within reach.
