The Dutchman secured his sixth victory of the season in 'Sin City'.
After getting out of his RB21, Verstappen ran straight to his team waiting for him in Parc Fermé, and jumped in high spirits into the sea of Red Bull mechanics.
During the post-race press conference, the defending world champion explained why this victory made him very happy.
He said: "It's because they don't come as easily as '23. So in '23, it was more like ticking boxes. Now it's not like that, and we come from a very tough period, already last year.
"This year, it's been annoying at some stages as well. Everyone, of course, was not happy with the performances.
"And then, yeah, to still have this kind of end to the season for us is amazing. So you need to enjoy that because it's a big motivational boost for everyone. And that's why—it works the same for me," Verstappen concluded.
