Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing's team principal, even after the very difficult race the Austrians' had to endure at Silverstone, prefers to focus on the positives, and George Russell's result is among them.
Max Verstappen, after a rockus British Grand Prix only had a P5 to show for, following his grand pole position lap on Saturday afternoon, and Yuki Tsunoda fared much worse, finishing the race last and with a 10-second time penalty to boot.
When asked by GPblog, about how he planned to bring morale back up among the Red Bull Racing ranks, Horner answered: "We'll focus on the positives."
"We've got pole position here. We've got performance on the car from the upgrade that we brought. We were able to balance it for qualifying at a track that's very heavily aero dependent," added Horner listing what he saw as Red Bull successes across the race weekend on British soil.

Nevertheless, dropping downforce to improve the qualifying performance, as well as the understeer Verstappen was suffering from, ended up biting the Austrian outfit and the Dutch driver back hard as rain struck at Silverstone.
"We got unlucky with the weather today, it was worth a shot, but didn't pay off, so we'll focus on the positives. We know where we need to improve to keep moving forward."
In recent times rumours regarding a potential departure by Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing to take over a seat at Mercedes have surged. And Horner doesn't forget the German team's management of their British driver's race in a rather painful quip. "We've outscored George Russell, so we know where we are."
