Guenther Steiner about chairs 2021: "It would be a shame if Perez left"

Haas has a good list of potential drivers for 2021. Almost 10 names are candidates to join the American Formula 1 team next year.

The current drivers of Haas, Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, both have a contract which expires at the end of this season. They are on the team's list of potential drivers, so they will hope to get a seat for next year.

Team boss Guenther Steiner doesn't want to say exactly which drivers are on his list. But it's no secret that he is charmed by Sergio Perez, who yesterday announced that he will stop at Racing Point at the end of this season. He will be replaced by Sebastian Vettel. Steiner: "I respect him a lot, you know what he did. I mean, as always said also with Sebastian, it's a pity if we would lose him in Formula 1'', he explains to Autosport.com.

"What do we want to do?", he asks out loud. "Do we want to keep the drivers we have got? Do we want experienced drivers? Do we want to start with young drivers? Do we do a mix of it? Everything is on the table."
