Max Verstappen has manage to reinsert himself into the fight for the driver's title on numerous occasions. “He's like that guy in that horror movie that right as you think he's not coming back, he's back."

Which, of course, is a cause for concern for
McLaren, as a title that looked like a two-horse race between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri has been blown wide open by ill fortune as well as Verstappen's surge, whom after McLaren's double disqualification from the race results in Vegas has revived as a title contender after all hope appeared to have been lost after Norris' dominant win in Brazil.
Verstappen now stands level on points with the Australian McLaren driver and 24 points off the Briton's lead in the Standings.
Speaking on The Sports Agents podcast McLaren CEO said: “He's like that guy in that horror movie that right as you think he's not coming back, he's back," he said.
"So what an unbelievable talent he is. He never makes mistakes. He seizes every opportunity.”
“We've never thought he was out," he clarified. "You know, when we were, I think at a 104-point lead on Max, people are like, 'oh, this is a done deal.' We've never thought it was a done deal. And here we are.”
Brown addresses Vegas double DSQ impact
The 25-point setback suffered in the Drivers' championship Brown suggests it does hurt, but ultimately urges the team to look ahead, not backwards.
“And this is sport. You know, how many sports have we seen? I don't know if you followed the World Series. That looked like it was over until it wasn't. So I just think, that's why we don't get too upset about any one thing," he continued.
"It's just, it's sport. You learn, you live, you go again. Worrying about Vegas today is not going to make us faster tomorrow," he concluded.
