McLaren driver Lando Norris is not pleased with the way teammate Daniel Ricciardo overtook him during the French Grand Prix. He calls the overtaking 'too aggressive' and argues that Ricciardo should not have done it.
In the early stages of the race, Ricciardo battled with his teammate and made a daring move at the first corner. According to Norris, however, it could have been a step down. "I have nothing against Daniel, but I don't think he should have done that. But well, that's racing", says Norris according to the Brazilian branch of Motorsport.com.

Norris will discuss the action internally at McLaren

"I probably would have done the same thing in his place, but I was on the edge of the track," the 21-year-old Briton continued. "If I had a normal escape area or something on my right side I wouldn't be complaining, but because of all the bumps and vibrations there I had to go straight because he squeezed me. It's not my intention to complain, but we'll definitely talk about it."
In the end, Norris managed to take back Ricciardo's spot and finish the race fifth, ahead of his teammate. He also currently has the upper hand in the championship, with a 42-point lead over the Australian driver.
