The COTA sprint certainly delivered the drama that was expected, with Marc Marquez and Di Giannantonio colliding on the very first lap.
Jorge Martin made a sensational charge to pass Pecco Bagnaia on the final lap and claim a stunning victory.
The race was certainly not without controversy after the Marquez - Di Giannantonio incident. The drama was then further increased when Marco Bezzecchi crashed out of second place while hunting Bagnaia for the win.
After the race, Jorge Martin then crashed doing a 100mph wheelie down the back straight, but fortunately is uninjured as a result.
The sprint certainly sets us up for a very interesting showdown in Texas tomorrow as almost every rider has something to prove and something to gain from tomorrow's race.
