Marc Marquez defends Marco Bezzecchi after brutal Sachsenring crash, slams ‘karma’ claims

Marc Marqez has given his thoughts on Marco Bezzecchi's crash, urging fans and journalists alike to take a more mature approach rather than making moral judgements.
During Q2 at the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, Bezzecchi crashed heavily on his second flying lap in a high-side which slammed him to the ground. The heavy impact caused a 'complete and displaced fracture' of Bezzecchi's collarbone, forcing him to withdraw from the remainder of the weekend.
It didn't take long for fans and the media alike to cast their judgements, labelling the incident as 'karma' for Bezzecchi's actions in the Czech Grand Prix, where he lightly slapped a marshal who had mishandled his crashed Aprilia.
Marquez defends Bezzecchi despite rivalry
When asked for his own view on the situation and the hostile reaction from many fans towards Bezzecchi, Marquez had the following response:

"Karma doesn't exist," said Marquez, "I have read the word 'karma' since 2015, for example, and I won six world championships after that.
"So, if that's karma then it's welcome." He joked. He is of course referring to infamous 2015 season in which he was accused of interfering with the Lorenzo-Rossi title battle, helping his fellow Spaniard and sabotaging a true legend of the sport in the process - an action which Marquez fervently denies.
"Karma doesn't exist and, you know, all the riders are taking a lot of risks out there. We wish the best to Marco.
"I already posted after the Indonesia crash [telling people] not to push against Marco, because these things happen in races. I wish to Bez a good recovery."
