Will rain hit Silverstone in qualifying? Here’s the weather forecast for the British Grand Prix

After a dry and sunny Friday on track, Saturday’s weather at Silverstone — the day when the twelfth pole position of the season will be decided — could bring significant changes.

Alongside the on-track action, all eyes are also on the sky to see if — and when — rain will hit the Silverstone circuit, which could naturally shake the pecking order up in a major way.

As for the risk of rain, there’s currently a 60% chance of showers, with a cloudy but dry morning expected before a downpour likely hits Silverstone in the late afternoon.
