After a dry and sunny Friday on track, Saturday’s weather at Silverstone — the day when the twelfth pole position of the season will be decided — could bring significant changes.
Alongside the on-track action, all eyes are also on the sky to see if — and when — rain will hit the Silverstone circuit, which could naturally shake the pecking order up in a major way.
Will rain affect qualifying today?

According to the latest updates, the maximum temperature will reach 20°C, with a low of 15°C.
As for the risk of rain, there’s currently a 60% chance of showers, with a cloudy but dry morning expected before a downpour likely hits Silverstone in the late afternoon.
Rainfall is expected to range between 2 and 5 mm, with wind gusts reaching up to 55 km/h.
