Schumacher's daughter celebrates the icon's birthday with special message

Last Saturday (3 January), the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver turned 57 years old.

The seven-time world champion and Formula 1 icon received many good wishes from across the sport and his former teams as well. Ferrari, for example, wrote: "The day a legend was born."

Michael's daughter, Gina Schumacher, also posted an image from her childhood to celebrate the occasion. Alongside Gina is also a young Mick Schumacher, who is set to begin his first IndyCar campaign this season.

She wrote: "The best forever. Happy birthday dad!"

This year, Michael Schumacher also became a grandfather, after Gina's daughter Millie was born in March.
