The second E-Prix of Jakarta has been driven! Maximilian Guenther parked his Maserati on P1, followed by Jake Dennis and Mitch Evans. Championship leader Nick Cassidy made a costly mistake, which cost him dearly in the standings.
Guenther was immediately well away at the start. The German was allowed to line up his Maserati on the clean side of the track. The former Formula 2 driver controlled the race from there, keeping Jake Dennis, Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein behind.

Costly mistake

Nick Cassidy gave away the championship lead with a mistake. The New Zealander tried to pass Antonio Felix Da Costa, passing him on the inside. But the Envision driver dived into a gap that did not exist, breaking his front wing and stalling on the track for a longer period. He fell back to P19.
NIO driver Dan Ticktum did have a good race. The Briton managed to gain most places and worked himself into the points from P18, crossing the line in ninth place.

Pascal Wehrlein is the new leader of the championship. The former Formula 1 driver has one point more than Jake Dennis, who is again on the heels of former World Championship leader Nick Cassidy.
