The current regulations make Max Verstappen think about 'life', the Dutchman said after his Q2 exit in Japan. "I'm not even frustrated anymore. I'm beyond that. Yeah, I don't know what to make of it," Verstappen said after finishing 11th in qualifying at the
Japanese Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver finds it hard to find words for it in his native language, Dutch, as well.
"Yeah, I don't get upset about it. I don't get disappointed or frustrated by it anymore with what's going on," he continued.
When asked about whether he sees the light at the end of the tunnel, he continued: "I think we'll fix it in the coming weeks. The rest of how I think about this stuff, right? I don't need to mention it again. So yes, a lot of stuff for me personally to figure out."
Verstappen to think about 'life'
"Life. Life," Verstappen said cryptically about what he needs to figure out.
In recent weekends, Verstappen has been critical of the current generation of
F1 cars
'not racing'.
The four-time world champion confirmed that the matters he needs to figure out are related to the regulations. "Yes," he said.
