Verstappen's Red Bull woes continue with early exit in Japan qualifying

Max Verstappen was eliminated in Q2 at the 2026 Japan Grand Prix. The Dutchman finished in P11.
The Red Bull driver could marginally improve on his final lap in the session, and was in tenth place.
Verstappen survived Nico Hulkenberg's lap, however, Racing Bulls rookie Arvid Lindblad knocked him out. The British youngster was one and a half tenths quicker.
Meanwhile, Isack Hadjar safely qualified for the final session of the day.

Verstappen reacts to early exit

After the session, the four-time world champion reviewed what went wrong with the RB22 today. He explained that the car was 'undriveable'.
