Haas fails technical inspection: Likely disqualification imminent

Haas have a big problem ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. Both cars of the US racing stable have failed to pass the technical inspection. Normally, this means disqualification for both Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg.
The problem lies in the DRS system of Haas cars. The slot of the DRS system may be a maximum of 85 millimeters. This does not appear to be the case with the American team. The technical inspection showed that the slot was larger than that number, after the Haas team did especially well in Q1 this afternoon.
Disqualifying Hulkenberg and Magnussen are therefore the most obvious punishment for the Haas duo. This would mean that Magnussen and Hulkenberg would have to start from the back of the grid. On a circuit like Monaco, that is anything but ideal. Overtaking is almost impossible and so this would probably mean that the team will not score any points on the streets of Monte Carlo.
