Franco Colapinto has received a ten-second penalty after the Barcelona GP for failing to slow under a single yellow flag. The Argentine crossed the line in P8 at the Circuit de Barcelona, but has been bumped down to P10 following the penalty.
The FIA report reads: "The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 43 (Franco Colapinto), team representative and reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry, team radio and in-car video evidence.
"The Stewards determine that, albeit the driver of Car 43 slightly reduced speed before entering the single yellow flag zone, but did not discernibly reduce speed in the relevant yellow flag sector. The Stewards acknowledge that the driver reacted to the yellow flag but do not consider the reaction to be sufficient to comply with the regulations. Therefore a penalty on the lower end of the applicable scale of penalties is imposed."
The penalty has benefitted the Racing Bulls duo of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, who each get bumped up to P9 and P10, respectively.

Williams receive fines after Barcelona GP

Elsewhere, Williams have also learned verdicts for drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, after the pair were alleged to have made a start procedure infringement. Both Sainz and Albon finished outside of the point-scoring positions after a difficult Grand Prix, but have also both seen the team receive two €5000 fines.
On Albon, the FIA report reads: "The Stewards heard from the team representative and reviewed video evidence. When Car 23 was released from its jacks before the start of the formation lap parts of the right front tyre blanket got caught under the car. Although the team tried to remove the parts before the start of the formation lap, these attempts were unsuccessful and car left with a cable still hanging off the car and the team thereby did not take all of their equipment with them after the 15 second signal."
As for Sainz: "The Stewards heard from the team representative, reviewed video evidence and a marshal report. The team left a black plastic box on the grass area next to the grid and thereby did not take all of their equipment with them after the 15 second signal."
