Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson will have to go to the FIA stewards after the conclusion of the second free practice session at the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Verstappen made contact with Lawson around 30 minutes into the session after the two drivers went side-by-side through the entire final sector.
The incident also brought FP2 to a temporary halt. Due to the debris left on the circuit at the final corner, the red flag had to be waved.
Lawson was not happy. He said over the team radio: "He just drove into me, bro, like, he literally drove into me. Every weekend."
The incident was initially noted by the stewards and is now under investigation. The two drivers have been summoned to appear before the stewards at 17:45 local time (23:45 UK time).
