Formula 1 teams are introducing a significant number of changes for this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix. After a month-long break, all but one team has brought new parts to the United States.
Formula 1 returns, and as expected, teams have brought a staggering number of changes for this weekend in Miami. Ferrari, for example, has arrived with 11 new parts, according to the FIA’s car presentation documents. McLaren and Red Bull Racing have introduced two each. Mercedes, the team to beat so far this season, has brought two changes. Haas has introduced one, while Aston Martin has not submitted any updates.
The additional challenge this weekend is that only a single free practice session will take place, as it is a Sprint weekend. FP1 was extended to 90 minutes to help the teams after minor regulation changes were introduced over the break.
