In 2022, Formula 1 will not only introduce new regulations on the cars, but also on the engine and the fuel. In this video, the Mercedes works team explains the challenges they have faced and will face in the future.
Because a completely new chassis will be used next season, the integration of the power unit into the car is a tough task. The larger the engine, the less the air can be directed along the car.
