Moto2 Full Qualifying Results | Lap record needed to defeat championship leader

Filip Salac claimed pole position for the Moto2 race at the Austrian Grand Prix. The rider will be joined on the front row by Manuel Gonzalez and Alex Escrig.

Gonzalez finished in second place, while his championship rival, Izan Guevara, only set the fifth-fastest time. Gonzalez's teammate, Senna Agius, who was announced to ride for Tech3 in MotoGP next year, fell during the session and finished only 15th.

Q1 ended with a scary crash. As Alberto Ferrandez pushed to make it through to the final session, the Spaniard fell after losing control of his bike in the final corner. Fortunately, he was able to walk back to the pit lane on his own afterwards.

Jorge Martin was the quickest in Q2 in MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring The former world champion will be joined by championship leader Marc Marquez and KTM's Pedro Acosta on the front row for both the Sprint and Sunday's Grand Prix in Austria.

In Moto3, Brian Uriarte claimed pole position for KTM on home soil after finishing ahead of David Almansa and his teammate, Alvaro Carpe.
