Gabriele Minì will be back in action for Alpine at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Italian will take over Pierre Gasly’s car during Friday’s first practice session.
Alpine’s late announcement confirmed that this will be Gabriele Minì’s second outing in the A526. The Formula 2 driver made his official F1 practice debut in Mexico and will take over Gasly’s car this time.

Minì looking forward to a second opportunity with Alpine

Minì is pleased to be back in action so soon after his debut. The Italian hopes to build on the experience he gained in Mexico when he takes to the track at Interlagos.
"It’s great to be back behind the wheel of the A526 for the second weekend in a row, this time in Pierre’s car. Last week in Mexico City, driving in an official Formula 1 session was a fantastic first experience. It’s great that I can build on that this week", said Minì.

The Alpine junior stressed that he wants to gain experience while also helping the team prepare for the rest of the weekend. "I want to put in some good laps at a very different circuit, Interlagos, and gather valuable data and information that can help us. At the same time, I want to keep improving myself," said the Italian.
