McLaren's 'papaya rules' were called into question once again during the Singapore Grand Prix, and George Russell took the victory for Mercedes. Watch the Lollipopman recap the best moments from last weekend. Russell converted his pole position to a redemptive victory at the
Marina Bay Street Circuit, while McLaren celebrated their Constructors' Championship win in the midst of more 'papaya rules' controversy.
A key talking point during the race was the entanglement between the two title rivals, with
Lando Norris colliding with
Oscar Piastri on the opening lap, which led to Norris receiving the
'first choice' in terms of strategy.
Piastri vented through the radio, claiming, "That's not fair. I'm sorry, that's not fair."

Former
F1 driver Jolyon Palmer believes that McLaren is "getting themselves into a problem" with its own "manipulation" as its 'papaya rules' are questioned.
It comes after Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris made
contact at the Singapore Grand Prix, with the latter colliding with his teammate from behind to move past. Norris then held on to third place until the end of the race.
Piastri
vented his frustration over the Brit's move across the team radio. Team boss
Andrea Stella explained after the race that they want drivers to clearly share their opinions in the car.
"Question on this, and it was a question that Oscar Piastri was asking as well, is whether Lando and Oscar should have swapped like they did in Monza? My fundamental answer is no," Palmer explained on his F1 TV Analysis on YouTube.
