In the 2019 Formula 1 season, Lewis Hamilton won his sixth world drivers championship title. As this video shows, the British driver stormed into a comfortable lead and didn't look after the Spanish Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas started well and matched his Mercedes teammate in the opening exchanges but just couldn't keep up as we moved into the summer period.

After ten rounds, we kind of already knew who was going to be world champion. While there wasn't much of a title fight, this video highlights just how tight the battle for third place was. Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel kept swapping places through the season.

Eventually, after some help from the Ferrari team mixed with promising talent, Verstappen did enough to claim the third spot.
