The soap opera surrounding former Formula One driver Felipe Massa continues to rumble on. Formula 1 reportedly urged Massa not to come to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, the Mexican branch of Fox Sports reported. The 42-year-old racing driver from Sao Paulo was reportedly planning to attend the Grand Prix at Monza.

'Massa not welcome at Italian GP'

Lewis Hamilton became Formula One world champion in 2008, but Massa claims there was a huge mistake by the management at the time. Massa claims huge sums of money in compensation and has since threatened to sue the British High Court.
Over the weekend of the Italian Grand Prix, another picture emerged where a banner about Massa was displayed (see below). " Felipe Massa - 2008 world champion," reads the text on the banner. This should be removed from Formula 1 as soon as possible due to 'sight obstruction'.
