Brown delirious over the team radio with Norris: 'Simply lovely!'

Lando Norris clinched the constructors' title with his victory in Abu Dhabi. Zak Brown then reacted very elated over the team radio, including with a reference to Max Verstappen.

For McLaren, it is the first constructors' title since 1998. Zak Brown was therefore overjoyed, revealing over the radio: "Lando, you are amazing! We love you! Thank you for a great year! That was simply lovely!"

Norris then laughed at the McLaren CEO's words: "I love you too Zak, hahaha. My ears have both fallen out. Great job everyone. What a great year. We didn't know this was possible, but what a turnaround. Thank you to everyone in the factory. I know you can't be here, but incredibly done. And keep up the good work."

Norris was unable to win the drivers' title, but, among other things, his first place in the last race contributed hugely to the constructors' title. Over the radio, however, he was optimistic after the race. Indeed, the Briton said that next year will be his year.
