With the purchase of Williams by Dorilton Capital, the F1 team are now looking to new beginnings. Jost Capito is targeting improvements and insists the only way is up.
Jost Capito, the team's new CEO, emphasizes that one should not expect miracles for 2021.

Restructuring at Williams

"With a new beginning and new owners, you have the opportunity to restructure," Capito said in the Alte Schule podcast. "That's important now, because you can't get less than zero points. So it can only get better.
"For this year, no miracles are to be expected yet, because we can't change much about the car. But because of the corona virus, it was difficult for all the teams to continue working.

"Without a development freeze, the gap for small teams would have become even bigger, because the big teams and factory teams can handle corona much better than smaller teams. Then the gap would have been even bigger, so we can't complain," Capito concluded.
