Red Bull's Max Verstappen has stated that the RB21 is "a bit more together" as its performances improve towards the end of the season.
"We’ve had some good results lately, and I know when the car is capable of being quick and fighting for top places."

The four-time world champion has struggled mightly with his machine throughout 2025, winning just two out of the 15 races to start the season.
But some updates brought by Red Bull have brought the team, and its car, back to life, allowing Verstappen to win back-to-back races at the Italian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix, while also finishing P2 at the Singapore Grand Prix in a return to the front of the grid.
"The car is just a bit more balanced now," Verstappen explained when asked what the difference in the RB21 is compared to earlier in the season.

"It doesn’t oversteer dramatically or understeer dramatically. But every weekend, you’re fine-tuning things because it’s never perfect. Luckily, lately, the car, it’s been a bit more together.
"Then, at the same time, it’s not about believing in the championship or not—you just need to be realistic.
"We’ve had some good results lately, and I know when the car is capable of being quick and fighting for top places, I can be there. It’s as simple as that."

Verstappen's title fight hanging by a thread

Verstappen's two successive wins to close out the European leg of the 2025 season brought back plenty of talk in the paddock surrounding the Dutchman's title chances.
At the upcoming United States Grand Prix, that talk was rife once again, with the 27-year-old saying that he is "not thinking about it" ahead of the sprint weekend.
Oscar Piastri leads the drivers' championship with 336 points, with teammate Lando Norris 22 points behind on 314. Verstappen sits behind the McLaren pair on 273 points, needing to overhaul a 63-point gap over Piastri to take a fifth consecutive world title.
