Max Verstappen has received brand-new parts from Red Bull Racing directly for the first Grand Prix in Australia. The Dutchman is by no means the only driver with new components. As is customary ahead of a race weekend, the FIA published the list of new parts that the
F1 teams have brought to the Australian Grand Prix. Although it’s the first race of the season, teams do have new components compared to the test weeks in Bahrain.
Every team has brought new parts for this race weekend. Aston Martin and Haas lead the way with eight and seven new components respectively. Adrian Newey had already spoken about an aggressive development approach, and it shows. In Melbourne, Aston Martin has a new front wing, nose, sidepod inlet, engine cover, diffuser, and rear wing.
Red Bull with three updates in Australia
McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, and Ferrari—the teams widely regarded as the top four again this season—have each listed three new parts for the Grand Prix at Albert Park.
McLaren has modified the floor and rear suspension and brought a new rear wing. Mercedes has made changes to the front wing, rear wing, and bodywork. Red Bull Racing has updated the front wing, nose, and rear wing—by their own account to comply with the 2026 regulations. Ferrari has a smaller floor and revised front and rear wings.
Williams has updated the engine cover for Albert Park. They also have a new front-wing endplate, a new floor, and a revised rear wing. Racing Bulls has an updated floor, engine cover, cooling louvres, and rear suspension.
Plenty of new parts in Australia
Haas has also presented a whole list of components that “comply with the 2026 regulations.” These include the front wing, floor, diffuser, rear wing, and beam wing. Alpine has a completely new front wing, bodywork, and rear wing.
Audi has revised sidepods, sidepod inlets, and an updated front wing. Cadillac, the eleventh and final team, has brought an updated front wing and rear wing for the Australian Grand Prix.
