As per usual, two hours before a Grand Prix, the twenty F1 drivers are introduced to the fans during a lap around the circuit. At that moment, interviews are also conducted with most drivers, especially with the driver in pole position.
However at the British Grand Prix, this was not the case. On an open truck, the drivers' parade also took place this weekend, where the drivers wave to the crowd in the stands as they are interviewed by a presenter.
Naturally, British drivers Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Lando Norris, and Oliver Bearman were covered, and Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly also answered some questions.

Why Was Verstappen Not Asked Anything?

However, one driver was not asked anything: Max Verstappen. This seems remarkable, given that the Red Bull Racing driver will start from pole position later on today. But perhaps the decision was made not to ask Verstappen anything, in order to prevent the Dutchman from being booed. That also happened to George Russell last weekend in Austria.
Verstappen was already booed this weekend as well during an event in the Fanzone at Silverstone.
Nonetheless, Verstappen is unlikely to lose any sleep over it. He wants to completely focus on the upcoming race, which he will line up inside the first grid position.
